With the U.S. entity established by a Korean company having achieved annual revenue of over $25 million in 2025, a manager-level employee who had worked at the Korean headquarters for more than 3 years successfully obtained a Blanket L visa approval.

Unlike the standard L-1 intracompany transferee visa, the Blanket L visa allows the individual L-1 petition (Form I-129) process to be skipped, offering the advantage of obtaining a visa more quickly and efficiently. Based on an approved Blanket L petition, the applicant receives an L-1 visa after completing a visa interview.

Through the Blanket L program, employees of a Korean company can receive the same benefits as under the standard L-1 intracompany transferee visa. Manager- and executive-level employees may stay in the U.S. under an L-1A visa for an initial period of 3 years, with 2-year extensions up to a maximum of 7 years, while employees with specialized knowledge may stay under an L-1B visa for an initial 3 years, with a 2-year extension up to a maximum of 5 years.

To obtain Blanket L approval, the requirements set by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) must be met. In this case, approximately 3 years after the U.S. entity was established, the business had rapidly stabilized in the U.S. market and, on that basis, achieved strong revenue, successfully satisfying the Blanket L requirements.
